MOUNTING SYSTEMS
MOTORISATION.
Every shade system supports multiple fabric weights, mounting configurations, and control mechanisms. Below are the shared capabilities across all four product lines -- specify your requirements at quote stage.
BLACKOUT & LIGHT-FILTERING FABRICS
Blackout fabrics (≥99% opacity, 3-pass coating) for bedrooms and media rooms. Light-filtering semi-sheer weaves (30-50% opacity) for living spaces. All fabrics tested for UV stability -- no premature yellowing or brittleness in high-UV ANZ conditions.
FORWARD-ROLL & REVERSE-ROLL SYSTEMS
Forward-roll (fabric rolls toward the room) for standard installations. Reverse-roll (fabric rolls toward the window) for tighter light seals and reduced side gaps. Both mounting types available across roller, zebra, and honeycomb lines.
MOTORISATION & SMART CONTROL
Battery-powered or hardwired motor tubes compatible with Zigbee/Z-Wave/RF protocols. Bracket design accommodates third-party motors (Somfy, Dooya, etc.) -- we do not lock buyers into proprietary motor ecosystems. Remote control and smartphone app integration supported.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY (HONEYCOMB ONLY)
Honeycomb shades' cellular structure traps air for thermal insulation. Single-cell (12mm depth) for moderate climates; double-cell (25mm depth) for extreme heat/cold. R-value testing available on request. Reduces HVAC load in both summer cooling and winter heating scenarios.

Window shades are our fastest product line -- significantly shorter than plantation shutters (20-30 days) or venetian blinds (15-25 days). Below is the typical timeline from order confirmation to factory dispatch.
Fabric selection, mounting type, control mechanism, and quantity confirmed. Production slot reserved in our scheduling system.
Fabric cut to size, tube/cassette assembly, motor installation (if motorised), and bottom bar attachment. Honeycomb shades require heat-press bonding -- completed in this stage.
Final quality check: operation smoothness, fabric tension, motor function (if applicable), and packaging integrity. Ready for dispatch.
Why Shades Are Faster Than Shutters
Plantation shutters require timber milling, CNC routing, multi-stage painting/staining, and frame assembly -- each step adds 2-4 days. Window shades skip the wood processing entirely: fabric is pre-manufactured, tubes are standard extrusions, and assembly is largely mechanical rather than artisanal.
The only exception is honeycomb shades, which need heat-press time to bond the cellular structure. Even so, our 6 dedicated heat-press lines keep this stage under 3 days for standard orders.
Mixed-Container Lead Time Coordination
If you're mixing window shades with plantation shutters or venetian blinds in one container, the overall lead time is determined by the slowest product line (typically shutters at 20-30 days). We'll produce the shades first and hold them in our warehouse until the shutters are ready, then pack everything together.
No separate freight charges. No risk of mismatched delivery dates. This is one of the key advantages of sourcing all three product lines from a single factory rather than juggling multiple suppliers.
