BIDIRECTIONAL LOUVRE STRUCTURE
Louvres tilt in both directions from centre position -- not just 0° to 90°, but -90° to +90° -- allowing precise light control and cleaning access from either side. Standard on all frames ≥600mm height.
REINFORCED TOP & BOTTOM RAILS
Top and bottom rails 25% thicker than standard residential specifications. Reduces warping on wide spans (≥1200mm) and supports heavier hardware without frame flex. Tested to 50,000 open/close cycles.
GEAR-TILT MECHANISM (NEW GENERATION)
Nylon gear system replaces traditional staple-pin rods. Eliminates louvre sag over time, reduces tilt force by ~40%, and allows field replacement without disassembly. Mandatory on all PVC and aluminium frames.
EMBEDDED ALUMINIUM CHANNEL REINFORCEMENT
Aluminium U-channel embedded into frame stiles on panels ≥1800mm height. Prevents bowing under louvre weight and maintains frame squareness during shipping. Not visible after installation; adds ~8% to material cost.

CUSTOM SHAPES
Six non-rectangular configurations supported across all three materials. Each requires precise site measurement drawings -- not estimates -- and adds 7-10 days to standard lead times.
Limitation: Custom shapes require accurate site templates or CAD drawings with ±2mm tolerance. Verbal descriptions or photos alone are insufficient for tooling setup. Lead times typically 30-40 days vs. 20-30 for standard rectangles.
ARCHED WINDOWS
Full-radius or segmented arches. Minimum radius 400mm; maximum span 1800mm. Louvres remain horizontal; only frame follows curve.
TRAPEZOID & ANGLED
Sloped top or bottom rails for stairwell windows, attic gables, or angled architectural features. Angle range 15°-75°.
BI-FOLD & TRI-FOLD
Folding panel systems for wide openings up to 4800mm. Each panel max 600mm wide. Requires structural header support.
SLIDING TRACK SYSTEMS
Bypass or pocket-door style for patio doors and room dividers. Aluminium track rated to 40kg per panel. 2-4 panels max.
SOLID PANEL INSERTS
Replace louvre sections with solid MDF or aluminium panels for privacy zones. Common in bathroom lower tiers. Paint-matched to frame.
COMMERCIAL HARDWARE
Stainless steel hinges, magnetic catches, and keyed locks for retail, hospitality, or high-traffic public spaces. ADA-compliant handles available.
20-30 DAYS
PRODUCTION CYCLE
Standard rectangular plantation shutters -- wood, PVC, or aluminium -- ship within 20-30 days ex-factory after order confirmation and deposit. Custom shapes add 7-10 days. Fastest order-to-delivery: ~4 weeks to ANZ ports.
ORDER CONFIRMATION + DEPOSIT
30% deposit via wire transfer. Production slot reserved within 24 hours. Drawings and colour samples approved before tooling.
MATERIAL PREP + CNC MACHINING
Days 1-7: Timber kiln-dried to 8-12% MC; PVC profiles extruded; aluminium cut and drilled. CNC centres run frame components in batches.
COATING + ASSEMBLY
Days 8-18: Three automated coating lines apply primer, colour, and UV topcoat. Frames assembled, louvres installed, gear-tilt mechanisms fitted.
FQC + PACKAGING
Days 19-23: Final QC checks tilt function, colour match (ΔE <1.5), and structural squareness. Carton packaging with corner protection and moisture barrier.
CONTAINER LOADING + SHIPPING
Days 24-30: Palletised and loaded into 20ft/40ft containers. Sea freight to Sydney/Melbourne/Auckland: 14-21 days. Total order-to-port: ~4-7 weeks.
